MEU Officially Closes Its Uniswap V3 Pool and Continues on V2

During the development and technical optimization of the Meta Universe (MEU) token, one of our biggest challenges was ensuring that the price reflected across DeFi platforms was accurate and transparent for users. Today, we’re pleased to announce an important update regarding MEU’s liquidity pools on Uniswap.

🔁 What happened before?

In the early stages of the project, MEU was initially launched on Uniswap V4, where a misconfigured price feed resulted in a broken price being registered. Later, we migrated to Uniswap V3, but unfortunately, the incorrect price was inherited from the V4 pool.

Although we promptly removed most of the liquidity from the V3 pool to avoid further impact, a small amount of funds remained locked out of range and couldn’t be withdrawn at the time.

⛽ Why couldn’t it be withdrawn earlier?

Uniswap V3 uses a range-based liquidity system. If the market price moves outside your set range, some of the liquidity becomes unreachable unless the price moves back within range.

That’s exactly what happened with MEU: a small amount of WETH remained inactive and unclaimable — until now. Due to the recent rise in the price of ETH, that remaining balance gained enough value to finally become withdrawable.

As of July 23, 2025, we’ve officially closed the MEU/WETH V3 pool and withdrawn 100% of its liquidity.

✅ What changes from now on?

Starting today:

  • The Uniswap V3 pool is closed and empty.

  • Over the next several days, platforms like DexScreener and others will stop showing it as an active pair.

  • The only official pool for MEU is now on Uniswap V2, where swaps and trading are fully functional.

👁️ Why are we using Uniswap V2?

We’ve chosen to operate on Uniswap V2 because, unlike V3 and V4, V2 doesn’t distort price visibility for tokens with lower trading volume. This allows us to offer a stable and transparent experience for both our holders and the project itself during these foundational stages.

📈 When will we return to V3?

Once MEU reaches:

  • Higher daily trading volume,

  • A stronger base of active holders,

  • And the right conditions for wider visibility,

We will migrate back to Uniswap V3 (or a modern equivalent) — this time with full price control and public visibility from day one.

When that time comes, we will communicate the migration clearly and in advance, so that all holders know where and how to trade MEU safely.
